I was in Pittsfield for a week on a business trip and decided to try a little local skiing. My busboy suggested Bousqeut Ski Resort. I was the 1st person at the ticket counter so the lady gave me a free day pass! I skied the blue chair and enoyed the begginer side of the mountain and later discovered the summit express chair. It services mainly expert and intermediate terrain as well as the double black diamond back bowls known as Louise's Folley. The powder was clear up to my thighs and I was able to ski untracked runs clear up until 2pm. WHAT A MOUNTAIN!!!
The beginner and intermediate runs were professionally groomed. It was like skiing on velvet. I was so happy I called some friends of mine back home and told them about Bousquet. We are all going to fly back to Pittsfield for our next winter vacation. If you want thrilling steeps, deep light powder, and perfectly groomed runs all in one resort, try Bousquet.

I usually ski Jiminy Peak but I tried Bousquet last weekend for a change. The skiing was better at Bousquet. The grooming was perfect and the back bowls have several feet of deep powder skiing. The apres ski is great also. The women are very open and like to party. The bartenders give you a free drink ever once in awhile and the all the food is homeade by a really cute lady named Sherry. Next year I will buy a season pass at Bousquet.

While vacationing in the Berkshires I decided to do a little skiing. I am used to skiing the rockies but was pleasantly surprised by the skiing right in the town of Pittsfield MA. The powder snow was actually of a better quality that we get in Vail. Most of the trails were groomed to perfection, with a few expert runs left natural. The lounge was also a real treat. I ordered the surf and turf (lobster and filet mignon). It was the best meal I have ever had at a ski resort and at $10.99, the best deal too!

Bousquet is one of the most loved mountains in the north east. yes, it may not be the biggest mountain in toen, but it also doesnt have the tourists. one day i say larry cratka from the today show there and out of all the ski mountains he picked bousquet. he had a smile painted on his face. i admit, the lodges need an update, but the people, the terrain and the staff (instructors and racers) is the best you will ever meet. The trails are always groomed and the lifts are always running. the terrain park is also a big hit with a lot of the kids. Bousquet also has lots of fun events for kids including: instructional lessons, inter club and tristate racing, tubing, winter carnival day including a ski/board race, the harris cup which is a ski/board race, the rail jam and many more. also the summer is a great me too with their water slides, devil carting, go carts, bungee jumping, and rock wall climbing. if i had to rate bousquet from 1 - 10 id give it a 10.

name should be intergrated with town The Pitts, If ou like skiing next or into a junk yard, this is your place.Ski school run by non-business types ,just give us the money we will give you an instructor,or so to speak, usually a kid with no people skills and limited teaching. The lodge is a dungeon,as is the bar area,if your an adult in bar,you better enjoy kids running around.Hard to believe it is still in business.
