I live about 15 minutes away from Mohawk and ski there two mornings a week. It's small mountain with really lovely scenery, a few very nice green trails through the woods. There is really no challenge here, but it's a nice place to practice basic technique. During the week you can nearly have the mountain to yourself. When Wildwood has fresh bumps it's a great place to practice mogul skiing. To get the most out of the mountain I would recommend skiing across it rather than staight up and down, that way your runs last longer. The food is pretty standard. The lodge is nice when the fire is going and it's a decent size so finding a place to sit isn't difficult. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's definitely a local's mountain.
