It has been a while since I skied Vail. The terrain was awesome and the snow great - got snowed actually, A skier can't ask for more than being on ski vacation in a snow storm!. But I found the glitz thing in Vail was not for me. I want to wear my puffy jacket out at night and found there were spots that definitely divide the ski crowd from the jet setters. Not a laid back - too much social pecking order. I'd go again for the skiing - not so much for the scene.

VAIL IS A SWEET PLACE TO BOARD BUT UNLESS YOU HAVE A SEASON PASS AND DONT HAVE TO DEAL WITH I-70 TRAFFIC I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT. LIFT TICKETS ARE WAY OVER PRICED, $109 FOR A DAY, GIVE ME A BREAK LOL. IM GLAD I WENT IN EARLY SEASON AND ONLY PAID $55. IF YOURE RICH AND WANT TO PISS AWAY YOUR MONEY HAVE AT IT!

Always a great mountain. I have been to vail 5-6 times and know it well. Always a little crowded, but that's ok. Great restaurants, nice people. There is something for everyone here!
