We got lucky on the day we went here and had some snow...the most we had on the whole trip in December. Pulled off some awesome double black runs!

It has been a while since I skied Vail. The terrain was awesome and the snow great - got snowed actually, A skier can't ask for more than being on ski vacation in a snow storm!. But I found the glitz thing in Vail was not for me. I want to wear my puffy jacket out at night and found there were spots that definitely divide the ski crowd from the jet setters. Not a laid back - too much social pecking order. I'd go again for the skiing - not so much for the scene.
