Set on the highest peak in southern Vermont, Stratton Mountain offers an exhilarating skiing experience for beginner to expert with 92 trails and a 2,003-foot vertical drop.

Stratton Mountain offers the best of both worlds as old-fashioned New England hospitality meets state of the art snowmaking and grooming.

Located in the heart of Vermont's famed snowbelt, Stratton Mountain looks forward to plenty of natural snowfall each winter.

Sixteen lifts, including four high-speed six-passenger lifts, and the enclosed 12-passenger summit gondola are strategically placed to get skiers where they want to be quickly and efficiently.

The Stratton Nordic Center provides a change of pace with more than 35 km of tracked cross-country trails and 50 km of back country skiing. Moonlight tours, instruction and rentals are also available.

Two comfortable and attractive base lodges (at the Main Mountain and Sun Bowl) offer a full range of skier services. Stratton's Mid-Mountain Lodge provides a perfect alternative for the skier who wants a quick lunch or a cup of cocoa right on the slopes.

Stratton Mountain's famous Ski School offers a full range of proven instructional programs for skiers and snowboarders of every ability.

Home of the first bona-fide ski school for children, Stratton offers full-day, instructional programs for Little Cubs (ages 4 to 6) and Big Cubs (ages 7 to 12). Certified day care for children age 6 weeks and older is available in the bright, new Child Care Center conveniently located in the Main Base Lodge.

Stratton's five terrain parks hold a world-famous half-pipe and are the annual site for the U.S. Open Snowboard Championships. The Stratton Mountain Training Center offers programs for juniors and adults who are serious about their riding, with an emphasis on slalom, giant slalom and half-pipe.

Sleigh rides, snow shoeing, ice skating & other various activities complement the Stratton Mountain vacation experience.

The Stratton Village Square, a colorful pedestrian street lined with fine shops and restaurants, begins right at the base of the mountain. Guests also can take advantage of the Sports Center with indoor tennis, racquetball, 75-foot pool, Jacuzzi, steam rooms, massage and a complete fitness room.

Stratton Mountain is easily accessible via interstate highways from all major metropolitan areas of the East Coast.

Terrain is pretty good, and they maintain it well - high speed six packs work well to keep the crowd moving, but they throw too many…
