Tremblant is set proudly on the edge of the Canadian shield, just 75 miles (120 km) north of Montreal, in the heart of the Laurentian Mountains.

With a total of 92 trails covering 502 skiable acres and a vertical of 2,131 feet, Tremblant offers something for skiers of all levels.

Beginners will want to checkout the gentle 3-1/4 mile Nansen; while experts will be thrilled on Dynamite, the steepest run at 42 degrees.

Tremblant has 11 lifts, including six high-speed lifts. On the south side there is the new Gondola Express, a heated eight passenger panoramic lift whisking you to the top in just nine minutes; Cabriolet, a six passenger high-speed gondola; Flying Mile Express and TGV, high-speed quads; and La Porte du Soleil and beginners' area triple chairs. On the north side there is Duncan Express, a nine minute base-to-summit high-speed quad; Express Expo, a high-speed quad; and Lowell Thomas, a triple chair. The Edge has one quad chair.

Again this season, snowboarders and extreme skiers will have access to the snow park off the top of the mountain in the Gravity Park. This park will feature one half-pipe, the highest one in Eastern North America with a height of 17 feet.

Cross-country skiers will find 56 miles (90 km) of well-groomed trails with access from the base of the mountain. More than 125 miles (200 km) of trails for short or long excursions with an overnight stay are available in the Mont-Tremblant Provincial Park.

Tremblant features a four-season Quebecois-style pedestrian village nestled at the base of the mountain on beautiful Lake Tremblant, a pristine nine mile (14 kms) long lake.

There is ice skating on Lac Miroir located at the base of the south side and a skating oval on Lake Moore in the village of Mont Tremblant.

National and international flights from Canada and the continental United States arrive at Dorval Airport; and Mirabel International Airport, also in Montreal, has daily charters flights.
