Located in the heart of the Mount Washington Valley, Cranmore Mountain Resort has been North Conway's favorite hometown ski mountain since 1937! Recently, with $7million spent on improving it's facilities, Cranmore has become more than a great ski resort, but also a winter amusement park. There is such thing as a full day of fun here for those not interested in skiing or riding- Spend the day exploring our mountain adventure park which features an expanded tubing park, Mountain Coaster, Giant Swing and more!

Hannes Schneider put Mt Cranmore on the skiing map and much more. Skiing had been established in the Eastern Slope Region at such areas as Whitneys' Slope in Jackson and the old Wildcat Trail in Pinkham Notch. Hannes' arrival, however, elevated North Conway's reputation as a ski resort to new heights. The opening of the lower Skimobile that year, combined with the mountain's proximity to rail service and Hannes' presence, made Cranmore the place to ski in the East.

  • Cranmore is a good intermediate mountain. It's not one of the larger mountains but it's big enough to keep a beginner or intermediate…
