Ski Beech is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.

Beech Mountain proudly ranks as the highest ski area in eastern North America.

At 5,506 feet above sea level, the resort has one of the coldest climates in the south.

While natural snowfall is welcomed, Ski Beech's state of the art snowmaking capabilities provide 100 percent slope coverage to take full advantage of its mile-high altitude.

Ski Beech offers 15 downhill slopes with more than 830 vertical feet of varied terrain serviced by ten lifts.

The Ski Beech Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) staff offer lessons at all levels. Choose from group lessons, private lessons, racing lessons or popular children's programs through the Youth Learning Center.

From ice skating on an outdoor ice rink to dining at the Beech Tree Bar & Grill, you will find plenty to do at Ski Beech.

As far as accommodations, whether you want to stay in a secluded mountainside location or within walking distance of the slopes, the rental offices at Beech can accommodate your needs. Choose from 650 privately-owned chalets and townhomes.
