Whether your needs are vacation or business-oriented, Montana's Big Sky Resort provides the ultimate getaway -- and without crowds.

Framed by majestic Lone Mountain, Big Sky's winter season offers superb downhill and cross-country skiing, and it boasts 4,350 vertical feet, 150+ trails and 18 lifts.

Downhill skiing here is spread over three mountains (Lone Mountain, Andesite Mountain and Flat Iron Mountain) and features state of the art lifts, short or no lift lines and a superb international ski school.

In 1995 Big Sky added the Lone Peak Tram transporting the courageous to the top of 11,166-foot high Lone Mountain. This 15-person Dopplemayr tram accesses extreme, expert and advanced terrain.

This south facing skiing area has been described as offering expert skiers European-like high, open face skiing, with chutes and couloirs and extreme pitches of more than 50 degrees.

With more than 315 hotel rooms, hundreds of condominium units (most slopeside), more than 20 restaurants, shopping, night life, swimming pools, health spa, outdoor Jacuzzis, lots of outdoor activities and the Yellowstone Conference Center; Big Sky caters to all ages and all tastes.

Another don't-miss winter activity is snowmobiling on the hundreds of miles of groomed trails in and around Yellowstone National Park 18 miles from Big Sky Resort.

When you're planning a conference, Big Sky provides an ideal setting to mix business with pleasure.
