Boyne Highlands is located north of Harbor Springs and Petoskey, near the tip of Michigan's Lower Peninsula.
Rated in America's top five for snowmaking, Boyne Highlands has 44 runs, with the longest more than 5,200 feet; a vertical drop of 545 feet; one high-speed quad superchair; three quads; four triples, and two rope tows.
Boyne Highlands features a snowboard half-pipe, as well as 25 kilometers of groomed cross-country trails. Lessons and rentals are available.
Night skiing is offered on Wednesday-Saturday, beginning during the Christmas holiday.
Other amenities include a complete ski shop with rentals and repairs, day lodge with cafeteria, two cocktail lounges, game rooms, three heated outdoor pools, whirlpools, steam room, ice rink, shops and accommodations for up to 900 people.
Easy to Get There
Boyne Highlands, is located just north of Petoskey near the shores of Lake Michigan.
From Chicago, take I-94 to Route 131 north to Route 31. Take M-119 west and watch for the signs.
From Detroit, take I-75 north to Exit 310. Take M-68 west to Route 31 south to M-119 west and watch for the signs.
