Nestled in the Ten Mile and Gore wilderness ranges just 75 miles west of Denver.

There's something for guests of every age at Copper, where all lodging accommodations, shops, restaurants, conference facilities and a wide variety of activities are conveniently located within a scenic resort village.

With 2,465 lift-served acres, Copper Mountain has Naturally Divided Terrain, that actually separates skiers and riders by their ability levels. This is nothing we did…it is just how the mountain is laid out. Starting on the westernmost part of the resort is our beginner terrain. As guests make their way more toward the East side of the resort, the terrain starts getting progressively more difficult. Beginner skiers have their own area and don’t have to worry about taking a wrong turn onto a difficult trail, while the expert skier doesn’t need to worry about a beginner traversing across an advanced trail. In short, you have your level and you go to the part of the mountain groomed for your ability. The happy result is that beginners aren't intimidated by fast-moving experts, advanced skiers aren't held up by slower beginners and intermediates are left to frolic among themselves.

Otherwise known as "Colorado's Perfect Ski Mountain", Copper owes their reputation to an award-winning trail system that enhances the mountain's unique geographic features, providing naturally separated terrain for beginner, intermediate and expert skiers and snowboarders. Even the terrain park- fully equipped with jumps, boxes, rails and a superpipe- is sectioned from left to right into beginner, intermediate and expert areas. If trees are your forte, keep an eye out for the Glades Forest. Copper's backside offers thrilling bowls that challenge your leg muscles in any weather condition.

Copper also has earned the nickname, "Colorado's Friendliest Resort," thanks to a dedicated staff whose goal is to ensure each guest enjoys every minute of his or her vacation to the fullest. Whether your plan is to hit the slopes all day every day, relax on a sunny deck in the company of family and close friends, enjoy leisurely conversation over a candlelit gourmet meal or participate in family activities the resort has to offer, Copper's employees are here to minimize your concern and maximize your memories.

With convenient shuttle service throughout the resort, parking within an easy walk to the base area and a complete selection of restaurants, shops and outdoor activities to choose from, Copper caters to vacationers who seek the resort lifestyle.

Lodging guests will enjoy the complete Copper Mountain experience with luxury amenities at wallet-friendly rates, including access to the multi-million dollar athletic club. A variety of specials, inclusive lodging packages- including custom-made stays for families, couples or ardent outdoor enthusiasts- means Copper offers vacations to fit everyone's needs.
