The Park at Bear Mountain

For the best freestyle skiing and freestyle snowboarding, come to the Park at Bear Mountain. Whether you’re just learning to ski or snowboard, moving up to intermediate shred status or bringing your professional style to the slopes, Bear has something for you.

This nearly 200 acre winter playground offers upwards of 120 beginner to advanced jibs including a huge variety of rails, boxes, and walls, 100 snow features of all shapes and sizes, and Southern California’s only Superpipe. Check out all the action from the Beach Bar or BBQ located on the 13,000 sq ft sundeck.

The Scene is located just out front of the 13,000 sq ft sundeck. Have a drink, grab a bite and then go hike! New freestyle skiing and snowboarding features such as our signature jibs, boxes, rails, logs, and tanks are typically introduced in The Scene before they are laid out on the mountain. Park Staff rolls out new creations throughout the season to give you something new to look for each time you hit the snow.

No matter what your ability level or style, “The Park” has something for everyone! Bear Mountain is also home to challenging steeps including Geronimo, which begins atop Bear Peak at an elevation of 8,805 feet and Silver Mountain with the perfect pitches of Exhibition, Quicksilver and Rip Cord.

Once the sun goes down head over to Snow Summit and ride the world famous Westridge Park, which is also open for night sessions most Friday, Saturday and holiday evenings from 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm
