Built as a private residence in 1833 and now beautifully restored, the Historic Green Mountain Inn offers guests the perfect blend of Modern comfort and country elegance with 107 antique furnished rooms and suites. Amenities at the Inn include cozy library and living room, two acclaimed restaurants, a fully equipped health club with Jacuzzi, sauna and massage services, game room and year round outdoor heated swimming pool. Just outside our door, Stowe village invites you to enjoy its many galleries, historic buildings, Vermont specialty shops and the award winning Stowe recreation path. The Inn is close to all area attractions and recreational activities. ***Beginning on April 14, 2008, the Green Mountain Inn will be under construction as we are adding an elevator to the Main Inn. Guests who have booked rooms at the Inn will be affected by construction. We understand this may be an inconvenience to your clients; therefore we will not impose any penalties should your clients want to relocate to another property. The construction will take place from 7am-5pm, Monday through Friday. All hotel facilities will still be available to guests. We apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause.The project is expected to be completed by mid-July 2008.Because of the elevator construction, from April 14-May 17, 2008 the Green Mountain Inn will not be serving breakfast in the Main Street Dining room. All guests who have signed up for a breakfast package will receive a voucher for breakfast at a surrounding property.***
