Explore the area’s recreational opportunities – including skiing, golf, hiking, ice skating, snowshoeing, mountain biking and sleigh rides. Guests are invited to play on the hotel’s eight tennis courts, private and group lessons are available. Year-round, enjoy the Cortina’s health club, heated indoor pool, whirlpool and separate saunas for men and women. The hotel also has a massage therapist on staff. Dine at Zola’s at Cortina, with fine dining preparations of Northern Italian, French bistro and Mediterranean cuisine or Theodore’s Tavern offering a more casual atmosphere perfect for families. The Cortina’s lobby art gallery showcases the works of local Vermont artists, with a solo show featuring the works of one selected artist each month. Whimsey’s Gift Shop sells specialty items (including fine Vermont cheese, maple syrup and other local favorites) and gifts. Shuttle buses to the slopes run every half hour from approximately 7:45 am until 4:30 pm (return) and cost $1 but guests receive free vouchers.
