Nestled among the towering peaks surrounding Lake Louise, Deer Lodge has been treating travellers to true mountain hospitality for more than 60 years. Set within the warm environment of log, brick and stone, we offer cozy, comfortable lodging and award winning Rocky Mountain Cuisine. We began in 1921 as a Log Teahouse known as the Lake Louise Trading Co and in 1925 added our first guest rooms. Today we haven't lost our original charm. Recalling the Lodges early beginnings, some of our 73 rooms are furnished with Antiques, others have balconies and all have down comforters to snuggle under. Visit our dining room and savour our renowned authentic Rocky Mountain Cuisine, featuring game items from our game farm, such as Elk, Buffalo, Caribou and Venison. Or enjoy Afternoon Tea, light snacks, a glass of wine from our Wine Spectators awarded wine list. Just across the street, hiking trails beckon in summer, and cross country ski trails/ snowshoeing trails in winter. Thru the Internet site where reservation was made must cancel per dates indicated to avoid a 1 night cancellation and/or no show charge: For dates 02Jan - 23Dec, 72 hours prior to arrival; For festive season 24Dec-01Jan, 14 days prior to arrival.

Directions

Calgary International Airport (YYC)
Go west on 16th Avenue (which becomes Trans Canada Highway Number 1) to Lake Louise. Take the Lake Louise exit and turn left towards Townsite on Lake Louise Drive. The road continues 3kms up the hill. We are at the crest of the hill on the right hand side.
