This beautiful Austrian chalet is located in a mountainside forest in Waterbury, Vermont. Just minutes to four vermont ski areas!

Offering the most comfortable guestrooms furnished with country antiques, quilts, and comforters. The inn is open year around and the cabins are open summer and fall.

Located just four miles south of the village of Waterbury, and about mid-way between two of the most famous ski resort areas of Stowe Mountain Resort and Sugarbush Resort. Stowe is about 13 miles north of us and Sugarbush is about 12 miles south. Mad River Glen and Bolton Valley ski areas are also close by.

Treasure a wonderful night's sleep in a comfortable bed and wake to savor the smell of freshly baked breads and muffins. Wander along the trails through the surrounding maple and pine forest and then luxuriate before a toasty, crackling fire.

Grunberg Haus offers cozy suites, guest rooms, & three private cabins for your accommodations while visiting. Choose from:

• Rooms and suites are furnished with country antiques, comforters and quilts. Most rooms open to a balcony that surrounds the Inn and provides relaxing views of the Green Mountains.

• Cabins each feature a vaulted ceiling, paddle fan, private bathroom, sitting area, queen-size bed, and mountain-view deck. Cabins are tucked on a mountainside along trails up in the woods. Each cabin is heated with a beautiful wood stove that burns like a fireplace. The cabins are designed for romantic getaways for two. They are open from Memorial Day to the end of October.
