The season begins in Jackson with the Wildquack River Festival followed by one of New England’s most scenic foot races. Celebrate the fourth of July with fireworks in the Village or at the base of Mt. Washington with the sounds of the symphony. July and August means summer theatre, farmer's markets, free outdoor concerts under the stars or at Jackson's gazebo and art shows. The White Mountain Arts Festival in August is a weekend of art, crafts, food and music across the street from the Inn.
Fall brings the show of nature’s colors along with craft and agricultural fairs including Maine’s oldest and largest in neighboring Fryeburg. You can also begin a one mile walking tour of the Village right from our door. Stop at the Curio Shoppe, the General Store, art and craft galleries, the Farm Stand for farm fresh fruit, produce and baked goods; the Jack Frost Shop for clothes and the bakery for creative treats.
