A grand masterpiece of Spanish Renaissance architecture, The Mount Washington Hotel was a two-year labor of love for 250 master craftsmen.

Conceived by industrialist Joseph Stickney, this National Historic Landmark opened in 1902 and immediately became a favorite summer haunt for poets, presidents and princes.

Room Types....

Standard
These rooms are moderate in size and decor, and all have one queen bed. Due to the size of the rooms, Standards can only accommodate a maximum of two people.

All Standard rooms have a private bath, telephone, clock radio, and television. Guests may choose Standard rooms with Presidential, Sunset, or Less Preferred views.

Superior
These rooms are larger than the Standard, and have either two queens or one king bed. All Superior rooms have a private bath, telephone, clock radio, and television.

Guests may choose Superior rooms withwith Presidential, Sunset, or Less Preferred views.

These elegant rooms are larger than the Superior rooms, and have either one king or two queen beds.

All Corner Vista rooms have a private bath, telephone, clock radio, television, and VCR.

Because they are located on the corners of the Hotel, they offer excellent views in two directions. Guests may choose Corner Vista rooms with Presidental or Sunset views.

Deluxe
These exquisite rooms are larger than the Corner Vistas, and have either one king, one queen or two queen beds.

All Deluxe rooms have a private bath, telephone, clock radio, television, VCR. The Deluxe have Sunset or Presidental views.

Family Chambers
These multi-room rooms each have a master bedroom with one or two queen beds and a smaller bedroom with two twin beds. The bedrooms are adjoined by a private bathroom .

All Family Chambers have a telephone, clock radio, and television. Guests may request Family Chambers with Sunset or Less Preferred views.

Tower Suites
These exquisite suites offer a bedroom with one queen bed and separate living room. Each suite has one and one-half bathrooms, telephone, clock radio, television, VCR, and air conditioning.

Because they are located on the top floor corners of the Hotel, the Tower Suites offer panoramic views. Guests may choose Tower Suites with Presidential or Sunset views.

The Executive Suite
This elegant two-room suite offers a bedroom with one king bed and separate living room with a boardroom table and eight chairs. This suite has one bathroom, telephone, clock radio, two televisions, two VCRs, and one jacuzzi.

The Executive Suite has a Presidential view, and is ideal for entertaining or small board meetings.

The Premium Family Suite
This luxurious four-room suite offers a master bedroom with one king bed, two smaller bedrooms each with one twin bed, and a large living room.

This suite has one bathroom, telephone, clock radio, two televisions, two VCRs, and one jacuzzi. The Premium Family Suite has a Presidential view.

The Rooftop Tower Suite
This exquisite new suite offers a master bedroom with one king bed and a separate living room. This suite has one bathroom, telephone, clock radio, television, VCR, jacuzzi, and air conditioning.

This suite also features a walkout deck that offers magnificent panoramic views.
