Only Minutes from AspenThe Green Drake is nestled in the center of the charming Victorian mountain town of Basalt, located 25 minutes from downtown Aspen. Founded in the mid 1800's as a railroad stop for the Midland railroad, Basalt has carefully retained its mountain hamlet appearance, character and friendliness. Restored Victorian brick buildings line the main street and house a wonderful collection of quaint shops, art galleries and charming restaurants, all within a few steps of the Lodge. The Green Drake has a wide variety of clean, comfortable and affordable accommodations. Our Suites have a sitting room (with convertible sofa), bedroom with queen bed and bath. Some Suites also have small kitchens. We have large one and two bedroom suites with separate living rooms and kitchens. A few standard hotel rooms are also available. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the wonderful variety of affordable cafes and restaurants for breakfast and other meals, all within walking distance of the Lodge. A full refund for cancellations made at least 5 business days prior to scheduled arrival date.Refund for cancellations made after 5 business days will be made if we rent the unit. Prices subject to change without notice. Christmas, New Years, X-Games and weddings require a 30 day cancellation period, and late cancellations do incur penalties. Small pets are accepted.
