Tucked in amongst 150 year evergreens, aspens and beautiful wildflowers, you will feel secluded from the complicated world around you. The inn is just 2 1/2 blocks from historic downtown Breckenridge and Main Street's shops and restaurants, and the Riverwalk Performing Arts Center.

For skiers, we are only 1 1/2 blocks from your last ski run of the day. Located on Ski Hill Road, the Peak 8 base area and Colorado Super Chair are just 3 minutes up the hill on the free town shuttle. For hikers, walk out our front door and find some of Colorado's most inspiring terrain.

The Hunt Placer Inn is located on the actual mining claim of Hunt Placer. Placer mining involved the use of water under high pressure to loosen gravel from the hillsides, which was then run through sluice boxes to filter out the gold. Next door to the Inn is the Lomax Placer Gulch historic gold mining site, Colorado's only placer mining park.

The views from the inn and guest rooms, are pure Rocky Mountain - heavily wooded on all sides, looking across the Blue River valley to Mount Baldy.

Rooms
The three mini-suites and five rooms all contain a private bath and balcony and have been individually designed to reflect the High Country way of life. In addition, each mini-suite boasts a cozy fireplace. Each room has a queen bed except the High Country, with two single beds or a king size bed. Each will accommodate two people.
