Whatever time of year you choose to visit our Victorian Bed and Breakfast Inn, located in the Gold Country of California in downtown historic Sonora, you'll find something unique to do. Our cozy living room fireplace is especially comfortable in the winter after a day of skiing or snowboarding at Dodge Ridge, only 30 minutes from Barretta Gardens Inn.

This turn of the century Victorian home has five elegantly decorated rooms. The Isabelle has a queen size bed with a private bath which includes a spa for two, stained glass, old fashioned windows with view of the sunset.

The Liliane and Janine, have private attached baths, the Liliane with a king size bed, the Janine with a queen. For sunshine lovers, the Chantal, decorated in white wicker, with a queen and a twin bed and private bath just across the hall from the room. Our most romantic is the Odette Suite, with a queen size bed, a luxurious bathroom with 2 person whirlpool spa, wall to wall windows overlooking the foothills and a plant filled solarium/sitting room with private entrance.

All of our rooms accommodate two people except for the Chantal which can sleep three.

In the morning, we offer coffee, tea, juice delivered to your room and following that, a full gourmet breakfast in our formal dining room which includes fresh pastries from our own on-site French bakery.

Ask for our ski package and we will give you a 10% discount off of our regular room rates and serve you a continental breakfast including coffee or tea, juice and fresh French pastries from our own on-site French bakery in your room prior to your heading to the slopes.

We also offer theatre, and restaurant packages. Our inn is a special place for birthdays and anniversaries. We have gift certificates for all occasions.
