Apples Bed & Breakfast Inn is nestled on a wooded acre in the Moonridge area of Big Bear Lake. Set in the midst of pine trees, we are one mile from the golf course, as well as two major ski resorts. Here you can enjoy crisp mountain air and the surprises nature brings every season of the year.

Apples, a beautiful 9,000 sq. ft. country Victorian home, was designed and built for the discriminating bed and breakfast traveler. Choose from twelve guest rooms, each with a private bath, (four with jacuzzi tubs for two), king-sized bed, fireplace, television, VCR and wing-back recliners or old-fashioned rockers. Every room is individually decorated, featuring floral wallpaper, beautiful beds, luxurious carpeting, and lace window treatments.

Apples has a large gathering room, complete with a wood burning stove, baby grand piano, game table, and library loft. There is always plenty of room for every one to stretch out. You just might make some new friends.

Join the other guests in our large dining room for breakfast with a festive atmosphere. You will awaken to the aroma of fresh-brewed coffee and our special muffins, served along with a large assortment of morning food that is unsurpassed; no one will go away hungry. The full breakfast menu could include such delights as cranberry applesauce, homemade English muffin toast, fresh-baked granola, corn strata, honey apple sausages, puffy French toast with apple cider syrup, and our incredible hot porridge with creme, for when the weather is blustery cold.

During the day, there is a refreshment bar stocked with coffee, tea, soft drinks, juices, sparkling waters, fresh cookies, and popcorn. When the weather is cool, you will find hot chocolate and cider at your fingertips. Afternoon will bring a glass of sparkling apple cider and herb cheese.

After an evening in town at one of Big Bear's excellent restaurants, settle back on the overstuffed couch and enjoy a cup of steaming coffee with a lovely homemade dessert before going to bed.

Let us not forget the bed! You will find different and beautiful beds in each guest room, with down comforters and fluffy feather pillows (we do have other bedding available for those with allergies). Now settle in and watch your own television or choose a movie for the VCR. Relax, and let the glow from your fireplace lull you to sleep.
