Preserving the History and Charm

Formerly a provincial court of law built in 1909, this building has been renovated to accommodate a hostel while preserving the history and charm of its former use.

Conveniently located in downtown Kamloops, this beautiful hostel is perfectly situated for the explorer on foot. Located in the south central interior of British Columbia, Kamloops is a great place to stop while traveling across Canada on the TransCanada Highway or as a destination in itself.

Kamloops' recreational facilities include everything for the individual or large group. Horseback riding, golfing, swimming, fishing, hiking, nordic and alpine skiing, and the Museum and Art Gallery are all easily accessible.

For school or team groups Kamloops is proud to offer many baseball diamonds, soccer fields, ice rinks, gymnasiums, indoor and outdoor pools, and tennis courts.

The Hostel facilities include a guests' kitchen, washrooms, T.V. room, lounge area, pay telephones, and laundry room. The dining area and lounge are located in the historical courtroom complete with the original prisoners' and witness boxes, jury seats, and judge's bench. Room sizes vary with accommodation for 68 people.

The hostel is able to accommodate groups, families and individuals.
