Many ski areas also start to sell Season Passes for next year in the spring. These early bird specials are often really good deals, since they may allow you to ski the rest of the current season and then the next full season on the reduced fare season passes. It is always great to be able to ski for less!
Its the only thing in RI so if you can go after a good snow it can be fun for a half day if you don't have time to drive up to one of the real mountains.
