Many ski areas also start to sell Season Passes for next year in the spring. These early bird specials are often really good deals, since they may allow you to ski the rest of the current season and then the next full season on the reduced fare season passes. It's a nice place to learn or re-learn how to ski. It's not too big, not too crowded, low key, and it has a nice little cafeteria style warm-up building with fireplace.
