Want to really get away from it all? Then take a trip to the Sunrise Backcountry Hut. Beneath towering spruce 2 1/2 miles deep along the Cheat Mountain Ridge Trail, you'll discover a side of Snowshoe few people get to see. And, you'll be treated to one of the best meals on the mountain prepared by the Hut Master. After dinner, if you can't bring yourself to leave, no worries; the Hut sleeps up to 8 people and a hot breakfast is available the next morning.
