Shuttle With advance reservations, Powder Mountain will send a shuttle to your hotel in Eden, Ogden and Layton. Shuttles regularly run from the Wolf Creek Resort parking lot and cost $6.00 round trip.
Ride in the heated cabin of the Lighting Ridge Snowcat to access over 700 challenging acres of pristine powder snow with an impressive 2100' vertical drop.
Access to James Peak and the adjacent powder bowls and chutes are an additional 20-30 minute hike from the top of Lightning Ridge.
Mountain Hosts are available for an additional charge to guide you down on your initial run.
Expert terrain only.
No trail grooming.
