The Hudson River Gorge is 17 miles of white water through beautiful Adirondac wilderness scenery. This river is a full day of fun rated as one of the top trips in the Eastern United States.

During the spring run off, mountain snows melt into this roaring gorge and provide white water rafters with wild Class III, IV and V rapids. This river is well known for its unusually long continuous white water sections. Enjoy the thrill of running famous rapids such as Blue Ledges, Mile Long, and Big Nasty.

Summer in the Hudson River Gorge is the ideal time to experience this wilderness Class III river in the warm months. The comforts of summer weather allows rafters time to enjoy a swim and riverside lunch in between entertaining rapids. Controlled dam released water enables rafting throughout the warm months. Summer on the Hudson is the ideal time for families to experience this majestic Adirondac river.

The goal at Adirondac Rafting is to provide a very entertaining and safe day on the river to each one of our guests. They've organized a group of Adirondac River Guides who are extremely skilled on The Hudson River and very familiar with the Adirondac Mountain region. Their guides have many years experience in white-water and are well educated with the ways of the wilderness environment where we work and live.

All of the guides are licensed by the State of New York and certified in first aid needs. Either Bob or Matt [co-owners of the rafting outfitter are on every river trip]. Bob and Matt have a combined total of 35 years experience on the Hudson River.

The number of guests on each trip is limited to provide the highest quality day possible for all involved. By limiting the number of rafts the focus can be on your fun and the guides can cater to individual needs or request.
