Skiing and snowboarding all day is just part of the reason you take a winter family vacation. Each night after the slopes close we offer a variety of activites for kids and the whole family.
If you would like information sent prior to your arrival, please call the Resort. Additional activities are available at a cost for large groups.
NEW! TUBING PARK
Adult: $15/hour Kids(10 and under): $10/hour
Open 7 days a week, 3pm-7pm, starting December 20, 2007!
Sessions start at the top of the hour.
Ice Skating
Glide along on our outdoor ice skating rink. Skate rentals are avilable from the conceirge.
A Night at the Movies
Enjoy one of the latest ski adventure films, a family movie, or a local area slide show in the Yellowstone Conference Center amphitheatre.
Fireworks
Saturday evenings, Christmas through close.
Snowshoeing
NEW! Guided showshoe trips leave from the Huntley Lodge's Firehole Lounge throughout the week or go out on your own on the Moose Tracks Trail. Reservations are recommended for the guided trip.
Search and Rescue Dog Demonstration by Ski Patrol
Enjoy s'mores by the campfire and then meet one of the Big Sky Ski Patrollers and their Search and Rescue Dog. This informative presentation will show you the vital role search dogs play on the mountain.
Evening childcare can also be arranged through Big Sky Resort's concierge. Summit Hotel.
