A Different Kind of Backcountry Adventure!

The evening starts at 6:30pm. once everyone has arrives, we board our snowcats Betsy and Dolly and it's off to the yurt, The yurt is located about 2 miles out in the Backcountry and it is a 20-minute ride through Moonlight Basin Ranch, while overlooking the Lee Metcalf Wilderness Area.

A yurt is a large, circular, fixed walled tent, which is 30 feet in diameter (pretty big!). Inside the yurt we have family style seating at round tables as well as sofas and an armchair, for you to relax or play some board games.

Our wood burning stove keeps you warm, while Kevin Fabozzi or Terry Stebbins play live acoustic music all night. Outside, there are some sledding hills for those of you up for the challenge and a raging bonfire for those of you who prefer to watch the action.

If you like to star gaze, this is the place to see "the Big Sky" at it's best. This unique evening of Montana Hospitality last for about three and a half hours.
