The True Alpine Experience

The San Juan Hut System beckons backcountry buffs to brave the 73-km expanse of trails from Telluride to Ouray. With intermediate and expert trails up and over the Sneffles Range, guided trips are available for guests embarking on the full journey or those who just want a dose for a day.

Spaced every 10 - 15 km, the huts are used for shelter and overnight stays, and are equipped with padded bunks, propane lights, a wood-burning stove, chopped wood and a kitchen.
