Stop in today and relax in one of many pools, have a family picnic and enjoy the scenery. Strawberry Park Hot Springs is only 7 miles from (downtown) Steamboat Springs

Getting Here
The last 3 miles of the road are gravel and although the road is maintained on a regular basis, it it steep and winding. Also you must share it with hikers, and bicycles.

In the winter it is recommended you use a Shuttle Service (970) 879-1873 - unless you're a professional driver in snow and ice. It is illegal to drive the last 2 miles w/o appropriate gear. 4 wheel drive or chains are mandatory Nov 1 to May 1 Aprox. 2 miles down there is a place to park and hike.

Make reservations for lodging in a train caboose, rustic cabins, covered wagons or camp along a beautiful creek!

No one under 18 allowed after dark - I. D. required

No alcohol other then 3.2 beer are allowed at the main pools.

Amazing place. This natural hot spring is located just out of downtown Steamboat up a steep little road. Nothing to worry about for Colorado drivers but it looks like it could be a problem for the tourons. (take the shuttle, leave the rented Suburban at the condo) The setting is beautiful with many pools that afford privacy as well as big ones with many people. Leave the glass bottles at home and 3.2 is the only kind of beer allowed. That means bring the canned stuff. Also, be warned the cloths come off when the sun goes down so if you are easily embarrassed you should leave before dark. Definitely a must see if you are in the Steamboat area and certainly one of the most beautiful hot springs in North America.
