Crested Butte Mountain Guides offers professional Avalanche Safety Courses (Level 1, 2 and 3) throughout the entire state of Colorado. CBMG instructors developed the standard avalanche course curriculum used across the courtry known as AIARE (Avalanche Institute for Avalanche Research and Education). All instructors are AIARE certified.


Whether you're a skier, snowboarder, snowshoer, or snowmobiler - these avalanche safety courses will make your favorite activities safer and more enjoyable. Learning how to use avalanche beacons and travel safely in the backcountry in winter makes good sense!
