The Scenic Skyride will open for summer operations on Saturday, May 28, 2005.

The Scenic Skyride at the Arizona Snowbowl is the easiest and best way to see Northern Arizona, shuttling guests to an elevation of 11,500 feet for panoramic views atop this extinct volcano. From this elevation, over 70 miles of scenery can be enjoyed, including the Grand Canyon and downtown Flagstaff.

The Skyride is a great opportunity for photography, viewing wildlife, hiking, or just enjoying the peaceful ride up and down Arizona's highest mountains. At the top of the Skyride, a U.S. Forest Service interpretative specialist is available to assist you and answer any questions regarding the biology and geology of the region.

There are also information displays located on the main level of Agassiz Lodge regarding the San Francisco Peaks and the Ski Area. The Agassiz Lodge Restaurant is open to cater to your hunger and thirst while sitting on our outside deck -it's not your typical ski area food. On Saturdays, sit back and relax while enjoying live music on the deck from 11 am to 3:30 pm.

The Scenic Skyride operates daily from 10 AM to 4 PM from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, weather permitting. After Labor Day, the Scenic Skyride operates Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through mid-October.
