With 400 inches of "Cold Smoke" powder provided by mother nature, MBA snowcat skiing/boarding trips are truly world-class. Montana Backcountry Adventures is a first-class snowcat skiing/boarding operation in Big Sky, Mont. Our clients ski up to 12,500 vertical feet per day on runs that range from gentle bowls to steep and deep trees. Youll find over 1,800 acres on the north side of Lone Mountain, skiing and riding on private land provided by Moonlight Basin Ranch. Ski with our qualified guides down a variety of runs that best matches your skiing ability. Each guest will be equipped with an avalanche beacon and a shovel. Skiers are educated in backcountry safety and procedures prior to departure. MBA also offers moonlight dinners, guided resort trips, and guided snowshoe tours.
