So Much Snow at Sunshine Village!
It's been a year like no other at Sunshine Village in Alberta and this fantastic fun goes on for just a bit longer! Well over 30 feet of snow has fallen this winter and this bounty has allowed the season to go all the way until May 21st, one more week of epic spring conditions.
Just a short drive from Banff and 90 minutes from Calgary, Sunshine Village is three gigantic mountains of perfect snow loaded with runs for every level of skier and boarder. Open typically from November to May, the incredible snowfall this season is pretty much the norm every winter so head to Sunshine Village before the lifts finally stop for the season.
Summer at Sunshine Village
Breathtaking in any season, the Canadian Rockies come alive in summer and Sunshine Village is a great place to take in the scenery. Enjoy a myriad of walking trails all leading to incredible vistas as well as beautiful alpine lakes and meadows full of wildflowers. The fun goes from late June till the leaves change in September and the snow returns for another great winter of alpine action!
